To visualise the root growth grass (Puccinellia fasciculata, or Borrer's saltmarsh grass) ear was placed in a rhizobox filled with the dirt. Rhizobox was inclined under 45 degrees for positioning of the growing roots closer to the lower wall in response to gravity. Grass ear was grown in rhizobox for 15 days.
