To explore the root growth rye (Secale cereale) ear was placed in a rhizobox filled with the dirt. Rhizobox was inclined under 45 degrees for positioning of the growing roots closer to the lower wall in response to gravity. Rye seeds were grown in rhizobox for 21 days.
